Just like the other persons, I too was approached by two friendly young men, very smooth- claiming they needed " points" to win a Leadership Award in a local college. I wanted no magazines, so they asked if I would please just help them win by buying- then canceling- a subscription and they would get half the points, putting them in the lead. Two young men came to my house. They were very out going and nice to talk to. They both asked if I would help them earn points by purchasing magazines and they continued to obtain my information and I wrote each of them one check for one magazine. At least the bank refunded me $50...

The money goes to the project but the magazines go to a service member in the armed forces oversees. The points he would earn would depend on...

I ended up writing them a check for $58.00 for a years worth of "Muscle & Fitness" magazines and was told that they would take about 6-8 weeks to start coming in the...
