I paid for AppleCare support for my iMac. I called an Apple phone number for help. I will never understand how I was transferred to a MYTECHHELP Tech Rep. I thought I was talking to AppleCare. I explained my problem. He said he couldn't help me unless I paid for MyTechHelp. I asked why I needed to do that if I had paid for AppleCare. He said that covered only hardware. I was in panic because I thought I had been hacked for my credit card info and passwords. I gave him my credit card number and...

Purchased an anti Virus w/ registry cleaner package with the understanding that I was entitled to a 99.99 rebate. Purchased software package on 12/17/2012. Filled out rebate form which states receive rebate in about 10-16 weeks. Called after the 16 week mark. Was given the run-around and told it would be another few weeks. Called on 9/19/2013, was told they would "escalate" processing, which would take another 7 WEEKS! Not acceptable. Have all documentation...

Contacted TechZilla(but was was led to believe I was in contact with Apple Customer Service).I was told when I signed up that I receive a $50.00 rebate within a week. I spent nearly 6 hours on the phone with these people until I realized they had no idea what they were doing with my iMac. I finally just hung up the phone.I have called on 2 occasions about my rebate. The first time I was told it was in the mail. Today I was told one must be a member for 90 to 100 days before I could apply for a...

In 2011 we called Techzilla and they made it seem they where apple care. They were not!!we cancelled three days later. In 2012 the drafted 89.99 dollars from our account. After several calls we had a refund along with an email confirming cancellation. On 9/12/2013 another 89.99 dollars was stolen from our account. I am not rich, and this is a lot of money to be taken with out any notice after it was cancelled three years ago. This can't be legal....

Thankfully I didn't lose any money to this scam. My new Asus laptop was acting weird and randomly shutting down. So I looked up Asus tech support on my phone but instead got Techzilla. When I asked the girl if she was with Asus she lied and said yes. After explaining my problem and being put on hold a couple times I began to wonder if something was up because she hadn't asked me for a model number or anything, which they usually do. So she takes me off hold and tells me I need to send my...

I called under the impression that I was calling Asus tech support. Called, spoke to a representative which also led me to believe I was calling Asus tech support. I explained my issue. He was wanting me to pay $50.00 in which I said No Thank You and hung up. I called back and spoke with another representative and he was requesting 160.98 and was also leading me to believe he was representing Asus. I explained to him that I had just called and the previous tech was requesting $50.00 I asked him...

They are a fraud, they tell you that they are going to fix your computer, but they don't plan to, or even attempt to, they just want to take your money! They need to be stopped, and the only reason I got to them is because they pretend to be apple computer....

With out my authorization they have collect from my credit card for 11 months for services I have never contracted or need. They refunded 8 months and gave me $ 100.00 bonus in a gift card who turns out to be coupons for 5 and 10 dlls. in restaurants or store that we do not have around the Valley. Which turn into 10 to 20 trips to far away businesses away from my location. I did accept service for a year providing 100 dlls gift card and a refund for 8 months, but turned to be coupons rather...

I searched for Samsung help and they came up first. So I thought I was talking to Samsung. They must've known that but of course didn't correct me. Sent my laptop to them and they couldn't fix it. Paid 200 bucks for the service and Samsung would've done it for free cuz I was within warranty....

They are a company that make you believe they are working on the behalf of apple. I wanted my computer to be fixed, and they said they can do so, but then they ask you to pay 200$ and then they bill you every month. Their company URL is apple.mytechhelp.com and if you search apple tech support on google, they are on top of the list. Can you see why I thought they were apple? I don't want to send my computer with my valuable information to a company that seems so sketchy....

This company is nothing but a scam. I thought I was calling Apple service, but unfortunately I got Techzilla. After being transferred several times to "Customer Service," "Direct Tech," "Tech Support," and more, each person was trying to sell me something different. First they wanted to sell me a $250 one year "Maintenance Contract," which, by the way, only covers labor, NOT parts (and I don't even believe that). Then, another guy, (read complaints below), wanted to charge me $150 for an...

I paid to have my ipad 2 repaired for screen damage. I sent in my own replacement screen and was told the 99$ would cover shipping to/from and to place the new screen on the iPad. 10 days later I call to get a status update and they tell me it will be another $220 to fix it on top of what I just paid. I explained to them what I had been told to which they reply they can give me a 15% discount. I tell them no, ship it back to me ill go elsewhere for repair. They then tell me I have to pay $50 to...

Comcast transferred me to who I thought was a Comcast rep, who tried relentlessly to sell me on this particular modem. Understanding that I wouldn't get a modem via my Comcast install, I said okay. When I got it, after a Comcast tech had installed a Comcast modem that didn't appear to cost money, I immediately sent the modem back to Techzilla. They charged my credit card anyway ($125) and I've heard nothing sense, nor have I received a refund. Comcast isn't off the hook for this either....

I purchased a new Dell laptop, and when I had a problem with the touchpad, the Dell rep transferred me to another number which turned out to be TechZilla. The Techzilla rep never identified himself as anyone other than Dell Support. He did say they could not resolve the issue, because I had not purchased the support package. I paid an additional $249.99 for this package. I found out later, through Dell Support that Techzilla was not part of Dell. I called Techzilla and asked for a refund. The...

This was owned by saveology and now seem to be under new company called elephantgroup. they can change the name but still the same problems. TechZilla was mistakingly called by my employer, thinking she was reaching Apple Care. They did not tell her they were not Apple, but rather sold her $200 in products that she did not need, including antivirus protection for a MAC We have filed a dispute with the credit card company. When the company was called to discuss, we were told that there was a rebate form but that the money would not be refunded as it had been "authorized" When I suggested they needed to refund the money, they hung up....

I own an Apple laptop and was told by techzilla that my files were corrupted and that I needed antiviral software and I ended up purchasing that along with a backup drive, etc that I needed which cost over $500. When I called Apple directly I was told that apple computers do not need antiviral software. I was basically mislead and I recommend anyone needing computer help to stay clear of this company....
