I have had terrible experieince wiht Direct TV. I feel trapped. They find sneaky ways to renew your 2 year contract without even informing you, so you are basically stuck either paying them forever, or cancelling and paying the canecellation fee. My son signed bundled services over 2 yrs ago. Sent payments to qwest.All customer service/billing for both was one number. Stefan called and canceled services, plural, on 5/11/12. After closing and canceling our DirecTV service in July, we were sent a box by FedEx Ground which contained a prepaid USPS return label. Our DirecTV equipment was carefully packed and dropped off in July at our local post office and returned using DirecTV's USPS return label. False Advertising / Unreliable Service

Cannot get OnDemand wireless with DSL as internet provider though their advertisements include OnDemand as if it just comes with your subscription. No indication that you need to purchase more equipment and that you must have a very fast internet connection. . Service is unreliable. Just invested 1.75 hours in a movie and as there was a single clap of thunder the dish lost the signal. Wasn't even raining and there was no wind. Never got to see the end of the movie. DirecTV sales people do not tell new customers exactly what equipment and the attendant costs. After installation of equipment, with only 2 of 6 sets operational, we were told we would need to buy 4 more boxes at $70/box to receive service in the entire house. Basically I have been paying for a package that was never programmed in my t.v. I didn't realize I was supose to get the extra channels. I 've been paying 72.99 for 2 yrs! This is the most dishonest, dispicable company I have ever come across. We sold our home in 2006. Called DirecTV to cancel service stating we were moving out of state, were told to take the receivers with us. 6 months later we bought a home in our current state and called DirecTV for service. On their sports pack page it states "Regional Sports Networks Follow your favorite teams no matter where you live. The DirectTV bill was past due 138.00 and when I called to make a payment they said you have to pay 308.00. I said why 308.00 and they started saying because we disconnected your DirectTV you now have to pay the whole bill which part of it is for prepaying until may 8 th 2010.
