There was an add for free trial of their skin products that said need only pay $4.95 s & h. Paid that amount with my credit card on 7/24/13. However on 8/9/13 they did an unauthorized charge to my credit card for the amount of $97.88. When I called customer service, I was advised that it said the trial was for only 2 weeks. I kept on arguing with "Tray" in customer service so he put me on hold saying he needed to speak to his supervisor. Then came back saying that the products were on sale...

I replied for a free trial offer for skin care products. I had to submit a payment of $4.95 for shipping. I received the sample product and thought I was done. 10 days later a charge for $97.88 appeared on my bank statement. When checking their website I discovered at least 550 others had wrote to complain about the same situation. A phone call to the company allowed me to cancel my account but so far no refund of the 97.88. Their site even describes the "free trial" scam!...

Through the website Free4Seniors, I ordered a free sample of AuraVie skin care products. I was only to be charged for the shipping, $2.94. Very shortly a nicely packaged shipment arrived which contained three items - a cleanser, serum and moisturizer. The packing slip just showed what I was expecting - the minimal shipping charges. So, unfortunately now, I threw the packing slip out. Well, imagine my dismay when I see on my Discover bill this month a charge of an additional $97.88. I tried to...

Received "free" offer of skin care products. No where could I find mention of a trial period in which my credit card would be charged $97.88 if the "free" products were not returned within a small time frame. There was no mention in the product packaging as well. I have since learned that I had to cancel my offer so as not to be charged for continuing shipments. Customer service did a "courtesy refund" of $25.00....

0n 8/26/13, i Ordered free trial with 30 day risk free trial on ad, only pay s&h but when called rep, on 9/11 they said its only 10 day and was charged automatically for 48.30 on 09/09. The ad was misleading. This is not good practice. The product wasn't even good but paid for it not knowingly. This is a scam...

Responded to what was supposed to be a free trial of a skin care product $2.95 for shipping and handling. At the bottom of their site, after several testimonials, was information about how after a 14 day trial you would automatically be enrolled in their program and charged $97.88. However, this part was not even seen at the time, since when I clicked on the offer tab I was redirected to the payment shipping info. A confirmation email made no mention of these terms. It was only after seeing a...

I ordered sample skin care products to AuraVie and received the package early June. Then, my credit card was charged $97.88 on June 18 by the unknown company "SKINSH." By contacting the credit card company, I got phone number of SKINSH and I found out it was the same company as AuraVie. When I called AuraVie, a customer rep told me that I agreed terms and conditions that I will continue subscribing products, by just ordering a sample shipment. If I want to have refund, I need to have a proof...

I signed up for a "Free Trial Offer" and authorized them to withdraw from my Credit Card $4.95 for shipping and handling. Today I received a bill for $97.88. I called and disputed the charge and was told that I had signed up for a "auto ship program". In response they offered to refund $59.59 -- I'm sure hoping to get at least the $38.29 difference. This is probably the most blatant scam I have encountered....

I ordered the AuraVie set for $4.95 then I was charged a few weeks later for another $97.88 meanwhile I never received the package. I've called many times to ask what I have to do in order to get my money back because it has been about 2 months now and I'm being told I will not get my money back and no refund policy exists the best they can do is refund half of my money. I told them that is unacceptable I want all of my money back & I'm not paying for a product I never received. I was told...

I ordered their product for $4.99 after completed a customer survey. after that, the nightmare started. I received the product quickly but never opened it as I found the scam from internet. Contact my bank in order to avoid any future charge, however, about 10 days later, there is a charge of $98 on my credit card and of course I could not dispute it. What a scam!! And I do not understand why they allow this company still operates this way. I am sure there are new victims they will get...

Revive, Refresh, Skin Kit Extremely deceptive marketing! This company advertises a supposedly free skin care product for which only shipping and handling charges will be made without mentioning the price.

Extremely deceptive marketing! I ordered what supposedly was a risk free skin care product and all I had to do was pay for shipping and handling. Instead, I got a product for which I was billed $97.88. Because I left for an extended trip abroad, I did not notice the bill on my credit card. While I was out of the country, they subsequently shipped two more packages for $97.88 each, charged to my credit card. I did not notice the charges until March (I was still abroad) and immediately contacted...

Two weeks later, my credit card was charged $97.88 without approval. When I called to cancel it, they said I signed an agreement to pay this amount each month for the product. Now here is the terms listed on the ad web-site: "You must pay a shipping and handling fee of $4.95 or 3.99 if using promo code...

Risk Free Trial is misleading

I ordered the Risk Free Trail offer from AuraVie, only to find out that this is NOT a free offer at all. When I discovered that $97.88 was withdrawn from my checking account, I contacted this company only to find out that I had ten days in which to cancel this product and then return it. No where on the statement this information is provided. I was told that it was listed in the terms and conditions, which I never saw, it must have been in with the small print. It`s a shame that this...

They are a ripoff. They told me I was receiving a free sample - only paying for shipping. Then they charged my credit card $97. They hung up the phone on me and my credit card rep.

AuraVie ran an add and said they would send a free skin care sample. I only had to pay $4.97 for shipping. I charged the shipping. Today, Capital One said I have a charge pending for $97.00! I was shocked. I am 63 years old on Social Security and certainly cannot afford this. They deceptively hide the small print on the webpage. The receipt has no mention of price. The disclaimer on the webpage is well hidden. I feel really used and taken advantage of. I have now read numerous warnings and...
