First National bank of Texas Overinflated fees cripple accountholder into submission!

First Convenience bank charged over 160$ on my husband's account, and it continues to accrue 20$ a day for each day not paid, because they decided to post the transactions BEFORE they posted the deposit, even though the deposit occured FIRST.(4 overdraft fees! On Monday November 19th 2012 I deposited a check into my account at First Convenience Bank, a division of First National Bank Texas. I called First Convenience Bank and spoke with a customer service supervisor by the name of Else who told me that the funds where placed are hold by the loss prevention department for reasons she was not allowed to share with me, the account holder. Bad bank that ripps people off!

I opened an account with this bank in an Arizona walmart and thought it was convenient! I read all the fine print and knew about the 90 days of keeping the account open or they charge 25.00 to close it. I kept this account open for over 90 days and moved out of state for a job. There is no first bank in wisconsin where I moved to so I closed the account over the phone and the customer service rep said that was ok and would send my balance left over in the mail to me.A few months after closing...

Poor Service

Because i live out of state and we have no First Convenience Bank in our state, the branch in AZ said it was ok to mail a deposit to the branch. That is what i did, and it cost me $5.90, it was delievered and i have confirmation that it was delivered, but nobody within the branch or at Walmart has a clue where it went. I say this is very very poor business practice of FCB because i called and told them about it, i spoke to Walmart about it and GUESS WHAT: NOBODY GIVES A DAM, NOBODY EVEN RETURNS...

Their customer call center is utterly incompetent and they do not value their customers

These crooks charged me the exact same outrageous overdraft fee (209.82) within a 24 hour period and claimed that "it just worked out that way". Plus, if you account is low or negative they will hold your deposits an extra day or two just so they can ding you for overdraft and take YOUR hard earned money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS. In January 2009 I was buying some medicen at CVS when my card was decling and I knew for a fact that I had money in my account. I called customer service they said I need to go to one of their branches so I did and I was NEGATIVE 1800.00 DOLLARS. Reported id theft in less than 24 hours after first fake charges were noted in my account. Met with bank officer and talked to security department. Problem was a single business that was repeatedly sending through false charges. While I confronted the business scammer, my account was to be blocked from this vendor. Did not bother to call my son to tell him that he was negative

I am angry at First Convenience Bank because they did not bother to call my son to tell him that he was negative and has overdraft fees worth x amount of dollars from many transactions over a period of about a week. I think they are immoral for making money off my son. He is a good citizen and has never hurt anyone in his life. He works hard and goes to school. I put 700 yesterday to replenish his account and today they are saying that the money I put in yesterday is not in there until tomorrow...

You are either an employee or I want what you are taking. First Inconviencebank utilizes an 800 number out of Killeen, their headquarters.You can never escalate past the call center even if your issue is beyond what they have the authority to handle(which is pretty much everything) They are currently under federal investigation. Charge twice or three times overdraft charges

Been with the bank for 7 years with no problem until 2009 when i noticed they were overcharging me overdraft charges (35.00) when i still had 200.00 and sometimes they would overcharged me two to three times for nothing i try to talk to them and they gave some kind of story that did not compute . besides that they charge you fees for everything they overcharged me about $350.00 before i decided to close my account. WARNING: DO NOT USE First Convience Bank!!! They will charge $2.00 for any reason if your debit card gets declined for any reason... Even if you have the money in your account to cover the item you were trying to purchase... Then If you have pending item to be paid...
