Awful Exchange Policies--Beware

Looks like I had the same experience many others are having. I ordered a pair of heated gloves as a Christmas gift for my husband--gave them to him early when bad weather set in. The gloves were small for a Medium. I contacted Cozy Winters--my contact was about four days past their 30 day return policy, though in fact, with shipping, I had not even had the gloves 30 days. And, I just wanted to EXCHANGE them for the larger size. I was told I could only get a store credit and there would be...

Wooden Hand Crafted Surfboard Rack - Hand Crafted Surfboard Rack

I have found the best wooden hand crafted surfboard rack online from cozywinters.com . As the company promises, it offered unique and high quality versatile board rack. This is so perfect for storing and displaying snowboards, wakeboards, and surfboards. Now, my room is very well organized, as I place my surfboards on to the rack. I have mounted it on a corner of the wall. It is a handmade rack, which gives a decent and natural look to my room. I am very happy with this surfboard rack....

Battery Heated glove Purchase

I purchased a pair of battery heated gloves in November 2012. They worked as intended until the right glove started flickering on/off anytime I moved my hand. This happened around June 2013. I called Cozywinters.com and was told they were still covered under the 1 year warranty. I was sent an email with instructions which meant I had to ship them back to them for repair. This went very smoothly and I received back a a pair of fully working gloves. I was very happy they were covered with a...

Poor merchandise description and Return Headache

Do avoid this company if you can. I should have read customer reviews before I ordered a ski and snowboard rack with cozywinters.com . Both racks were identical and when I called to find out whether there may have been a mistake in fulfilling the order I learned that no, it's the same product, but the company markets them as two different things. There are no specifications to the product on the website, which would have helped in the shopping process. After a few phone calls and a long back...

Faulty Battery in $200 Heated Gloves from Cozy Winters - Battery Heated All Purpose Thin Gloves with One-Button Controls

My concern with the: Battery Heated All Purpose Thin Gloves with One-Button Controls is not with the product, but that I have to complain about it. I love these gloves and my friends envy them, but, after 14-months of life%u2014just two months after the end of the warranty%u2014one of the battery packs is faulty. I have only charged the batteries (supposedly designed to last 500 times) in these $200.00 gloves around ten times. After one happy winter season I have the choice of paying $100.00 to...

Cozy Winters- defective battery heated gloves - Zanier mitts, Cozy Winters battery operated mitts

I received a pair of Zanier battery operated mitts as a gift in Dec 2011. Since that time they have stopped working and I have returned them to have the company confirm that they are defective and Cozy Winters has sent me a new pair. After 3 pairs, the company said this Austrian company has been producing defective merchandise and would I like to try their own product which I did. I am now in their second pair of mitts which have stopped working also. Each time I ship the mitts back to the...

Cozy Winters obviously doesn't believe in the products they hype to the consume

Ordered Warm Gear battery heated gloves for my wife who suffers from poor circulation. The gloves cost almost $200 and did not live up to their claims. I returned the gloves at my expense and was then charged $15.78 for the original "free" shipping. Gotta love the integrity of this company. They misrepresent a product and then make you eat the costs of return shipping (which I dont like, but can understand), but then they nail you for the initial "free" shipping. I will never do business with...

Poor Return Policy

I purchased an Outdoor Heated Thermo-Kiity Camper and Thermo Cube and had these products shipped to my parents for their outdoor cat's use this winter. They set it up for her (how else can we tell if she will use the product), he set her inside it and near the bed, and she would not use it. She jumped out of the bed the couple of times that he set her in it, and at that point, they picked the bed up, took it back inside, and called me. I informed them that the product had to be free of any hair...

Terrible customer service

I returned a heated jacket in original packaging with all the tags attached for an exchange in size. the service department tried to charge an extra $50 because they said the item was worn and used. it was only tried on and taken off because it was too big. how absurd. someone in shipping is messing up this company's reputation. i can't imagine this being company procedure. i am filing a complaint with the BBB and writing a letter to the president of the company.i will not buy from this company...

lousy products, arrogant customer service - heated gloves

I purchased a pair of heated gloves for $350 from cozywinters.com , order #248118, December 16, 2010. They worked moderately well -- NOT great and not anwhere near what their website claimed --for the first four or five times, then stopped working altogether. By then, it was outside the 30 day return period. I sent the gloves back for repair/replacement on January 27, 2011, RMA #TS248118-12944. It is now March 15th, 2011, almost two full months later. The winter is over, and I have yet to...

Unethical and Steal your money

I purchased heated gloves from Cozy "take your money" Winters.com. Paid 250 bucks because it would help with a medical problem that they advertise in the description. The product failed because they didn’t give proper instructions (now they do) and I was told it was out of warrantee, even though it was their fault it didn’t work and they admitted it. After writing to the management, they agreed to replace the battery. That was 2 month process and since winter ski season is over, we didn’t get...

customer service is terrible. returned item purchased for an exchange in size. item returned in original packaging with all tags attached. cozy winters claimed item was worn and not in new condition. they wanted to charge me an extra $50 to exchange for a different size. is this a scam or is someone in customer service trying to build their own little empire? my next step is to file a complaint with BBB and write to the president of the company. i will not buy anything from cozy winters. too...

Avoid Cozywinters.com at all costs

I contacted Cozy Winters by email about a product problem. I was called and told to check with the manufacturer which had very good warrantee service and I did. After three attempts with the manufacturer to get a satisfactory product I gave up and called Cozy Winters to ask for a refund since the manufacturer told me I would have to get a refund from them. I was told my 30 day return period had expired and since I had used warrantee “service” I was not eligible for a refund. I was never told at...
