I placed an order with Chadwicks for 3 blazers and received 1 blazer, a pair of pants, and a blouse - I believe any idiot should be able to tell the difference between pants, blouse, and a blazer. At any rate, my credit card was charged for 3 blazers, and I did receive an RMA to return the wrong items shipped. It has now been over 2 weeks and I was informed that it will take another 1 1/2 to 2 weeks to receive the correct product, all the while keeping the charge on my credit card....

Stay away from Chadwicks

My wife ordered clothing from Chadwicks. They sent the wrong size. They did not include a return shipping label so we requested one but they still did not send it. I finally paid for return shipping myself. Then Chadwicks charged us a five dollar late fee (for problems which THEY caused). I will not pay anyone a "late fee" when their incompetent performance is the cause of the problem. Chadwicks proceeded to pile on late fees on top of the late fees and finally turned this over to a debt...

I've waited 6 weeks for a blazer. I wanted it for Easter, I got the dress that matched but didn't get the blazer for over 6 weeks not. BACKORDERS are every day at Chadwicks. I'm usually a pretty good sport about it. This year 2013 has been really bad though. I could of gone to the fabric store, found a seamstress and had it costom made at this point. This is VERY VERY BAD SERVICE. BUYER BEWARE....and don't depend on them for FAST SHIPPING. You'd do better at EBAY!...

I ordered a swimsuit to go to the beach and was promised that it would come earlier, but it was a few days late. On the last day, I tried it out and found that it was a size too big. Chadwick customer service has been totally unavailable to explain debits for merchandise I did not receive. The website is down so that it is impossible to even check to see what they are charging me for. I was told last week to call back Monday to get the issue resolved. Monday , I was the same problem of no one answering the phone and the website remains down. I have been trying to resolve an issue for approximately 2 months with an order I placed before their so-called "system upgrade" took place. Apparently, since the end of October, their "system upgrade" is still not finalized, according to the message I get when trying to view my status with an order I placed. They sent me a $99 item I did not order and they charged me for the item. Did not send return mailing slip. Customer service number on packing slip disconnected. Ripped off

I never received 4 of the 5 items I ordered nearly 2 months ago. It has become clear to me that dishonest and dishonorable people work for you. I have constantly been lied to about my order. Told it was all sent on 11/21/11, which was not true. The latest lie was on 12/19/2011 by someone named Tarhisha (probably another lie), that she would re-ship the order and imitate an investigation. unrefunded shipping

Chadwicks shipped merchandise with sewing machine oil on it front and back and damage to the lace. They refuse to refund the shipping portion for sending the damaged item and the shipping it cost to return it using their prescribed label. Poor quality control. Do not buy from this company. You risk losing money. It is not a convenience and the majority of their products appear to be NOT made in the USA, but this is also not disclosed in their catalogues...

Website lies about return policy

I live in New York, I don't have a car. UPS makes daily dropoffs to my building so when I place an order I need to know that UPS will pick up whatever returns I need to make. The website clearly states that Chadwick's includes a UPS return label so that UPS will pick up (not for free, but that's ok). But the only label that came with my order was a United State Postal Service label. I called and they said,let me check. I feel I was intentionally mislead by Chadwick's customer service. They didn't inform me of the bankruptcy until tonight and I have called numerous times. Customer service told me not to worry my gift card had no expiration date and the service was just being updated.I feel Chadwick's should make good on the $50 they rightfully owe me! RIPOFF ARTISTS - dress and shoes

For about 15 years, I regularly bought clothing from Chadwicks. I always got many compliments on my outfits and was pleased with the company. However, in July 2011, I ordered three dresses for an upcoming wedding, knowing that I'd return two (time was of the essence). I returned the two I didn't need and the shoes (that were much higher than advertised) within the 60-day return period. Chadwick's in bankruptcy but still selling clothes

I unwittingly bought merchandise from Chadwick’s after the mother company had already filed bankruptcy. I read the biz pages and saw nothing about this over the summer. I returned all of the items, and the customer service reps have told me repeatedly that they received the items, that the credit was recorded on 9/6, but that due to the financial reorganization, my credit would be on hold for the next 45-60 days and then hopefully would be resolved. I purchased a 4 piece item from Chadwicks on June 16, and returned it on July 14. (I was away from June 21 - July 6; the item arrived while I was gone). I was well within the 60 day return period.
