Time Warner Billing "Error" goes unresolved after 5 calls in 6 weeks!!! "Promises" are BS... I want my money back that they TOOK!! - Time Warner Billing
I have the very basic cable I could get thru TW (only $12.45 mo), only because I couldn't get channels to stay in with an antenna. I can't afford anything more and have very little in my bank account to only pay the necessary bills. Someone put in the wrong code when I ordered a "free" digital adapter they said I needed. This code went in as an upgrade that I never made. They TOOK $129. from my checking account on Nov 6 (I normally "autopay" my $12.45 monthly TW bill). When I discovered this, I called to ask them to return my money because a mistake was made. They said I upgraded my service. I told them I have NOT done so. After checking, they told me about the coding error that "someone" made. They apologized & said they would credit my account, but it would take a few days. After a week, nothing. I called back. They said they credited my TW account & will deduct my payment each month. I said NO... I said I cannot have $129. out of my checking account all at once as I needed to pay other bills. I again told them to return my money & I would be sure my $12.45 mo got paid. They said they would "escalate" this with a form & someone would email me within 2 days. No one ever did. I've called twice since & did a chat with a rep. I keep CLEARLY demanding the same thing & I get the same apologies, "escalation" forms & promises that NEVER happen!!! I've asked to speak to a boss or to have someone in authority call me... they said they can't do that & to call back. I'm ready to call my lawyer & go to the media about this!! I'm thinking of canceling cable, but then I fear I'll NEVER see my money! I never authorized this & don't understand WHY my money is not being returned!
