Receiver worn out...showing 53,896 errors--still scanning..won't stop..over 29 hrs. of this and no tv in our house!!!

Were told we had to pay to get a "well" receiver sent to us..could be up to a week...only had this one 5 mo. 27 our bill $71.56 every mo..29 hrs and counting...still scanning...worst PR I've ever seen in my life!!!
