Nothing but problems with EXPEDIA!! Worst decision i've ever made using them!!
I booked a room for me and my boyfriend for this past Saturday. Not only did I ask the woman over the phone booking it 10x over and over again to make sure we got the jacuzzi room we paid for AND DID NOT GET WHEN WE ARRIVED... The customer service people were horrible. They acted as if they were helping but had no idea what was going on!! I got hung up on twice and called back and had to explain it all over again to a different person each time.. 45 mins later finally a supervisor came on the line and they were going to fix the problem since the hotels ate 3rd parties when booking a hotel and cant do anything unless authorized.. We got disconnected again and this and you could tell it was a hangup!! 1 hour (& missing 30 mins of the concert we were going to) later and nothing!! I was furious and determined!! Expedia takes tour money and does nothing!! I will keep contacting them over and over until they make it right!! We had to pay the difference of the room we originally paid for that expedia took on their end.. That is bad customer service.. Apparently out hotel told us it happens all the time and they just do not care!! NEVER USE A 3RD PARTY!! Always book through the hotel you want which is what I was trying to do in the first place!! DO NOT USE EXPEDIA, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU AND GIVE YOU THE WRONG RESERVATION, OVER CHARGE YOU EtC!!!! Not worth it.. Call directly!!!
