Customer service ripoff

We purchased comcast cable almost a year ago. They tricked us into believing we needed rental equipment that was unnecessary, then charged us additionally for it on the bills. They refused to pick up the equipment and continued to charge us until we brought it to their office an hour away.

They used a clever trick to keep us from tying up the cable. They partially set up our e-mail account, which requires a password. They never told us a password and you absolutely can not get any help from their website without the password. The modem crashed and after a couple of hours of researh, I found a phone number. They continued to send the wrong disks for about a month until I had a private consultant fix their system.

The nature of their ripoff is that they purposely keep all contact info off of the websites. See if you can find a number! The inevitable problems you will encounter will ultimately keep you from being able to use the the connection you have paid for. Ah yes... It's good to have a monopoly!
