Home Depot never fails to disappoint. A ceiling fan I ordered online came to me broken. Instead of shipping me the replacement part they had me contact the manufacturer. I kept being told that this was on back order, I eventually gave up. Home Depot said they'd send me a $50 gift certificate for my trouble - never happened. Tried to return the fan and the first customer service person arranged to have it picked up. Then I was notified that it had been too long and they would not return the fan. So Home Depot feels that they don't have to do what they promise nor do they stand behind what they sell. Home Depot sent the product broken, didn't help me get the part, didn't send me the gift certificate promised and wont return the fan that one person promised would be picked up. Home Depot, the land of broken promises. I'm never shopping at Home Depot again and will tell as many people as I can about the arrogant service.
