Kohls customer service sucks

In Oct, we ordered shoes that did not arrive as promised. Contacted customer service and was told order was lost at shipper. Original order cancelled and re-ordered. Second day received order that was overnighted. Next day received original first cancelled order. Then after calling customer service about duplicate shipment, the order was placed a third time. We ended up with 3 pairs of the same shoes and had to return 2 of them to the store without compensation for our time or gasoline. They offered us a 30% online only discount (which we receive in the mail regularly).

Reluctantly, we decided to use the 30% discount to order a flat iron for our daughter today. Again, the customer service was poor. Our daughter's name was misspelled along with an incorrect street address. (I spelled both for the representative to be sure everything was correct.) I called a second time to have the info corrected and received a second confirmation where once again, the street address was again wrong (different, but still wrong!).

A third phone call to get it corrected and I asked to speak to a supervisor. I also gave the correct info to the supervisor and requested a revised confirmation. After several minutes of not getting the e-mail, I called back to speak to the 5th person from Kohl's. This person said she was not able to send an e-mail, but she would request one from the ordering department. The info had not been changed after talking to the 3rd person and the supervisor. What kind of company hires customer service representatives that don't understand good old American English and then doesn't follow through with the changes requested in the shipping address? At this point we have no idea if the item will ever find our daughter in Florida.

I would love to hear from someone in management who could explain to me why their customer service is so poor.
