Service stopped working; Pingo refuses to refund balance
Pingo.com provides very low-cost telephone calling using an access code. It worked for several years without a problem, other than denying refills. (I had to open another account). Suddenly the automated voice says that each all is an "invalid number." Calls to customer service result in offers to "submit a ticket," a refusal to call back when the problem is corrected, instructions to try again in two hours, and denial of requests to refund the account balance. A consumer agency ought to pursue this, although it might be difficult to locate the company.
