Fannie Mae and First Service ohio
My company delivered over $700 in drinking water to a customer who rents a Fannie Mae owned home and the property is managed by First Service. Before we started doing business with this customer I spoke with a representative from First Service who advised me they will be the ones paying me for the renters water and asked if I would like a $500 deposit. Not knowing how offer this customer will be in need of water I advised I will just mail a monthly bill. Another First Service employee emailed me with the company's information and the address to mail the bill. However know they are blowing me off and I have never received a cent from either company for services provided beginning back in July. The renter now having to pay our company up front for his water. The renter of course cannot live without water in his home. He spoke with someone a month ago and they told him a check would be mailed that day. Nothing was ever sent. Neither company will return phone calls or reply to emails. I notified Fannie Mae and First Service I will now be taking them to small claims court. If you are considering renting a home from Fannie Mae I would seriously rethink your decision or you could be in this terrible situation as this renter is.
