Awful customer service
Verizon Wireless does not care about their customers. They told my husband when he canceled his service that they would prorate his his bill to only 4 days of service and that didn't hold true. Prior to that, his phone broke so to avoid paying for a new phone the salesman talked him into adding a line to get a free phone and that would also allow him to keep his free data plan and his first phones contract was almost up. My husband thought thought the second phone was without a contract kind of the like that new no contract service they are offering,, Nope... Lies all lies. None of it held true! He had called customer service to cancel the second line and upgrade the phone that was finally eligible to find out it was not eligible and if he upgraded he would lose his unlimited data plan. So he got frustrated and cancelled service and now has to pay two contract cancellation fees. I cancelled my plan out of principle. I was two days into a new billing cycle and they won't prorate my bill either. In the grand scheme of things they would rather collect the termination fee rather than make you a happy customer.
