Rana Motors Showroom, Gurgaon

This with reference to a Maruti Swift Dzire VXI model booked by me on 23rd july 2012 with Rs10,000/- paid as the booking amount. The car was booked by me at rana Motor showroom in Gurgaon and the contact person was Mr. Gulshan Kumar.
The promised date for delivery of the car was 31st july 2012 based on the availability at the time. All the documents and other formalities were completed on time, however, the car was not delivered on the mentioned date. Neither did I receive any information about the delay. On calling Mr. Gulshan, i was told that the delivery would be delayed as there is a strike in manesar Plant. However, I was promised a car based on the availability at that point of time and when the car was booked even then the strike was on. So, why a false promise was made in the first place. later, i got to know, that the car was dispatched a day earlier to another customer who had made the downpayment of a lumpsome amount.

During this time I did not receive any mail communication of the delay, but again I got a call from Mr. Gulshan at the time of diwali, that you can get the car delivered next week during dhanteras. Again the same incident happened, and once again they failed in their services. This time I asked them to give my money back because you are cheating a customer by making false promises.I did not receive any communication from them till jan, until I had to reach to their show-room. Intially they told me that a cancellation fee of 250/- will be deducted for cancelling the order. However, they agreed to return the entire amount which is Rs. 10,000/- because the fault was from their end, I did not get the delivery on time and it was more than 7 months of waiting.

Today after 7 months i receive my cheque with the return amount as 9750/- . My question is why has this cancellation fee been charged on me when this delay was from your side, I have a signed document wherein its clearly mentioned, that the return amount will be 10,000/- then why time and again you are cheating a customer.
I have not received very good feedback about the show-room and their employees and i have heard they have a history of bothering and cheating other customers as well by making false promises.

I need you to look into the issue and get it resolved at the earliest by paying me the entire amount with interest.
