poor customer service
I have worked in customer Service for over 20 years now and I have never experienced the lack of customer service as I did at the Sequim costco . We are usually always asked if we would like our items boxed (bagged) or not when we are at the register, and this time, even though we had SEVERAL little items, we weren't even asked, and the rude man just put everything in the cart. After noticing this, I asked if we could have some of the smaller stuff boxed, and he just handed me two small boxes and literally stood there and watched me unload every little item and place them in the boxes myself. Meanwhile, the woman running the register couldn't figure out how to ring in my coupons, which was the whole reason of the shopping trip, and had someone trying to help her for 15 minutes. After realizing that they weren't going to figure out how to ring the coupons in, they totalled us out and sent us over to someone who was supposed to be able to refund me my money that I didn't get to save with my coupons. She was extremely rude and not appologetic at all. After we stood there for another 10 minutes, we told her that we would take a seet. We sat for another 20 minutes waiting for this woman to figure out what she was doing before we went back over to her to see what the hold up was. She figured out some of the coupons and did refunded me for those. After being there so long I told her to just keep the others. The whole reason of my shopping trip (and buying a costco membership) was because of my coupons, and I didn't even get to use all of them. I had just purchased a membership through costco corporate on the internet that included costco coupons that day also, and regret wasting my money on it, because I will never return there again just to be treated like nuisance.
