My hubby and i used pods for storage when he deployed, I talked to several companies and compared notes. I told pods we would be moving away from the original pick up location, an hour away to be exact. They told me the cost would be no more then 150 dollars to redeliver. My pod was delivered to my drive way in january and was stored for 7 months. when I called to have my POD redelivered and gave them the new address, an hour away i was told it would cost 1,200.00, a much larger cost then originally told. I spoke to many people and tried to contact the local pods moving company never got an answer. I had no choice but to get a moving truck and go unload the pod from the storage location. When i scheduled the unload date i was told to call back and let PODS know and i would be reimbursed 154.56 the prorated amount. Well when i called i was told the local center charges 25.00 per day and that i would only be given back 26.00. WHAT! which also means that they charge an entire month rent in the first week and the rest of the month is free. Obviously the call center does not communicate with the actual storage facilities. They all lie and say what you want to hear. You are never given a contract and are expected to look it up and it is a "verbal" agreement. If you use them get EVERYTHING IN WRITING. The few things they sent me were to vague to use to argue against them. BEWARE
