Bad Product

My wife and I purchased a patio table and chairs. After less than one month we noticed rust on the pieces and rust on the new outdoor rug we purchased and put underneath the table on our deck. We had a ten year old set that looked better than this set only days exposed to the weather. My wife and I took chairs in to the Goshen, Indiana store to only get the run around for months. We didn't want any warrenty to expire so we pushed a little harder. We were told to write a letter to corporate and we received contact from Sear's Blue Ribbon Service. After explaining what happened and sending them pictures of the rust, we were told that Sears would back the products they sold us. We had not heard back from them after getting this information last week, so we called back today (almost one year to the day after purchase), only to be told that it was not their fault because the manufacturer they obtained the set from did not warrenty it. We explained that we felt it wasn't our fault and we were only offered one hundred dollars for our time and inconvienence. This is the last word according to Shante our Blue Ribbon Representative.

This is totally unacceptable to me and my wife, but appearently we are stuck with a rusty table and chairs with no more recoarse. It is a sad day when Sears sells a product that lasts only days and won't back it. We will never buy anything from Sears again.
