SCOI purchased a pool heater from Raypak in August of 2009 and soon after started having problems with the unit turning off. After multiple trips and repairs from the original installer Raypak decided to send out their own factory trained technicians and they were unable to troubleshoot the problem even though they sent their best. The last technician finally figured out that by leaving the access panel partially open the heater would stay on. Almost every single component of the heater has been replaced and it still does not work properly. The original installer and me, the end user called and asked that the unit be replaced and all they said was that the unit was out of warranty and they wanted to work something out if the installer could provide proof of prior work on the heater.
