Unresolved Sole Elliptical Repair - Appt - SOLE E35 Elliptical
I purchased a Sole E35 elliptical March 3, 2013. In September of 2013 the incline failed to work. I called Sears to set an appointment to have it repaired. As of today, December 30, 2013 it has yet to be resolved. I have missed 3 days awaiting a technician to repair the machine which based on Sears schedule for my area is only Monday and Friday between 8 am and 5 pm. On the first appointment on October 2nd.. the technician disclosed that he was not an expert on elliptical... spent a total of 30 minutes trouble shooting the issue. He ordered parts which delivered at the end of October. On October 31st the same technician arrived and to his astonishment the wrong part was ordered.. He left stating he had to order another part. We wait for weeks and no word.. I call Sears to see if the part was ordered and was notified that the part was on back order. Today I have an appointment scheduled AFTER the part arrived only to find out at 3pm that the technician went home early. No other technician is available and I have to reschedule for January. I am highly upset at the inconvenience of missing 3 days of work to deal with this fiasco. 3 days!! Do you realize how much money that is??? Yet all I receive are apologies. Why in the world does this area only have two technicians?? That only service on Monday and Friday between the hours of 8 and 5pm? Sears District Manager or Sears Corporate needs to address the issue or they will lose a large customer base due to inadequate scheduling and planning. I will be sharing my review on social media. It seems that going beyond explaining my situation on the phone provides any results. I can now clump Sears into the Comcast category for poor service.
