Great service and lousy flowers

Needing to use United miles before they expired I selected some flowers for my wife for the holidays from the FTD site. The order was submitted online and it was delivered. That was good!
While the flowers looked fresh the next morning some has started to topple at the head.
That was bad.
I called and the lady on the phone was most accommodating. While I explained that only one variety of flower seemed wilted she was glad to replace the whole bouquet before the holiday. That was good.
New flowers received and they looked worse than the original shipment. All the flowers had 'burnt' petals and more were wilted. Tired of the bad flowers.

Now my only question is which is worse...United for directing me to FTD or FTD itself? Trick question as I have confirmed in my mind that both are bad!
