Etsy has awful customer service
Etsy has the worst customer service and oddest/worst way of handling issues with ordering items I have ever seen. For those of us using Etsy as "buyers." Etsy offers no help, feedback. will not advocate for you, and they do not even have a customer support PHONE NUMBER that you can contact. I ordered an item from a seller, received the wrong item, and there was actually nothing I could do. Etsy's idiotic response was "work it out with the seller, there is nothing we can do." Well of course the seller didn't want to work it out with me, they already had my money, so it meant nothing to them whether I had reviewed the correct item. And, of course, Etsy doesn't care. I repeat, if you are a buyer, and something goes wrong with your order, Etsy will DO NOTHING. I went so far as to file a BBB case against Etsy, and even that got me nowhere. I then had to file a BBB case against the individual seller, but I am disgusted by how Etsy takes no responsibility hosting these scumbag sellers. Etsy is only out to protect the seller. Imagine for all the honest people on Etsy, how many dishonest sellers there are, and Etsy will do nothing. I would not buy anything from Etsy again, as there is no protection offered - Ebay is a much, much more responsible and trustworthy online site. I am truly disgusted with their (lack of) customer service.
