Vitally important information not provided when reservations were made - worst decision ever!!!! - PODS STORAGE &MOVING
When I called to get a quote and inquire about my upcoming move, I used the zipcode for the storage facilty in the new state I was moving to. I told them that at that time I didn't yet have a new address and would have to store the PODS in their facility until we found a home, after which we would have the PODS delivered to our new home. At no time during that first call, or any subsequent calls, while making my reservation did any representative mention that the PODS are only delivered to select areas/zip codes. The only stipulation was that the delivery price could vary depending on our final location, which made perfect sense. However, when I called today to schedule delivery of my stored PODS, they informed me that they don't service my home%u2019s zip code or any in the surrounding area. As a matter of fact, they don't service the majority of this state - NH. I was shocked and horrified because I never would have chosen them had I known this. When I told the representative this, she offered no assistance, no options, no discount, - absolutely nothing except to say that if she had spoken to me initially, she would have told me. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, she informed me she was in the supervisory group and there was no one for me to speak with. I cannot believe their complete lack of customer service and the obviously poor training of their representatives. Now, I have to rent trucks to unload the PODS from their facility and have all of our belongings reloaded into those trucks, drive them to our new place and unload them again. What an expensive nightmare!!! I will never recommend PODS and I strongly caution anyone who considers using them to question them very carefully about every detail of your move, and to get everything in writing.
