Ramapo Oral

In 2009 Dr. John Urcioli performed a complete upper one piece dental implant. Teeth were too short, and the titanium used on the pallete of my mouth caused me to have a lisp. My Oral Surgeon, DR. Edmund Steigman, Rte 59, Suffern, New York measured the permanent upper implant, by comparing it to the temporary implant. He found a difference of in the length of the two, confirming my complaint that the $30, 000.00 permanent fixture had indeed been done incorrectly. Too much titanium on the palette in addition to the length of the teeth. This was also confirmed by Dr. Michael DiLonardis, Rte 304, Bardonia, New York. Dr. DiLonardis will have to send this one piece, multi-tooth fixture to his lab in Manhattan to have it redone. My gums are bleeding and the discomfort is not something I plan to live with. I would request that the cost for the new fixture be absorbed by Dr. John Urcioli and his lab in Highland Mills, New York. I have been a patient of Dr. Urcioli's for at least 10 or more years and feel very badly about this situation. However, in saying that, his attitude is that nothing was done incorrectly. I have retained legal counsel in this matter and thoug I would prefer not to litigate I would be very happy if Dr. Urcioli and his Lab absorb whatever costs occur to remedy this very serious error.
