Target broken Accent Table.

I purchased a table on line to pick up at the store. The table was cumbersome and I needed help to get it upstairs to my apartment. When I opened the box I discovered the table was broke. I had to put it back in the box and get it down to my car to return it to the store. When I got there first I had to wait and was then advised I couldn't return it for 24 hours since I purchased it on line. I asked them to give me something in writing to say they had possession of the broken table and I would return to process the refund. They said the store policy was that if they could not refund it they could not accept the item. I was told I needed to take it back and return with it. I was very upset, first because it was broken, second because I had to wait over 45 minutes in the warm store with no seating and then was told I had to take it back. Finally after trying to get come kind of access numbers they did what I asked in the first place, took the table and gave me something in writing saying they had it. I returned the next evening to process the refund, that was on Monday, as of Wednesday night I have not received the refund. I called the online service and was informed it could take up to 7 to 10 business days to get my refund. It certainly didn't take that long to take my money. All they can say is I am sorry. Not acceptable. They need to change the policy.
