Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition - Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)

I bought a Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 (2014) on Boxing day from as a leaving present for my son as he was going abroad. Upon arrival we found that the LCD display did not work at all, rendering the tablet completely unusable. Very stipulated that the product was non-returnable, so I contacted samsung to get it repaired. The customer service people were polite and booked the repair for me, once receiving the tablet back after repair on the 13th of January, everything seemed to be working ok, (aside from the laggy operation, which seems to be a common complaint and the original product box, which I sent the tablet back for repair was returned in a very tattered condition) however now, just 7 days on from receiving the repaired tablet the LCD display has stopped working again. This means I have to send it away for repair AGAIN, and the tablet will have been away for repair longer that we have had it. It has in all only been usable for less than a week even though it was bough t on boxing day. I originally requested a new unit prior to the initial repair, but this was not done - and now I would much rather give the item back and get a full refund, as my son has already gone abroad. Further to this, as I received the item DOA, I effectively paid full price for a reconditioned item (post repair). This is incredibly frustrating.
