Scammed out of $82.50
I bought a Logitech K800 wireless keyboard at store #403 located on Cowan Rd in Westland. The keyboard stopped working so I brought it in with me to the store. Some guy helped me at the service desk. I didn't have the receipt with me so I was fine getting store credit back. It turns out that when I bought the keyboard, my name was never tied to it electronically. I was able to return my headset, but not the keyboard. The were able to look up my headset on the computer but not the keyboard. This one act has turned me away from Bestbuy and the corporate computer world. They will no longer get my service or the service of people I can influence. They exhort customers with vastly inflated prices and their geek squad is basically a job distribution node that contracts out work to real professionals. Everyone makes near minimum wage so the quality of people working there isn't too great. This one little error cost me $82.50. The employees have no will of their own and basically say whatever they were trained to say. There is not one lick of integrity among them.
