sears warranty - sears warranty

I have been a Sears customer for over 40 years.I have had there protection plan for that long for my appliances. I tried to call last week for my account to renew the plan, they said it expired and had me on the phone for over an 1 1/2 had me on hold for 25 min no one ever came back on the line. This is terrible customer service.
