Not Paying Bills
We did work through SOS Maintenance in multiple locations months ago. The weather conditions were very poor, and some of the work we did on an emergency basis. Do to this fact, we had to use special equipment, and add staff. We itemized all of our work, and sent multiple copies of our invoices up the chain of command. Rather than take an understanding approach, we kept being asked for the same information over and over again. Finally we called the corporate headquarters, because we felt that excuses were being made about paying us. Our workers had to wait for months to be paid and we did thousands of dollars of work. We mentioned, multiple times, our workers were waiting to be paid. Corporate told us, that the bill had already been paid to SOS. Then, we get a call that they are going to give us an "offer" as if they were selling the services back to us. We already did the work, bought the supplies, and sent the people into harms way for them, for a set price. When we looked up the company online we saw numerous complaints about the Chicago branch not paying people for work that had already been completed. Beware of doing business with a company who thinks paying bills is optional.
