Frigidaire Electric Dryer Needed to Be Repaired - Frigidaire Electric Drye
I scheduled an appointment for a Sears technician to come to my home on September 5, 2013 in the afternoone to repair my electric dryer. The guy showed up and spent a few minutes checking it out. Afterwards, he told me that I need a belt & a door/lid switch but that he would have to order the switch & would return a week later, September 12th to install both. He asked for a deposit of $173.27 so I wrote a check. On September 12, 2013 in the afternoon, I still had not heard from Sears Home Services or the technician & was waiting on him. I called & they told me that he was not coming because the part was no longer made. They never told me that before. Never contacted me. Meanwhile, they deposited the check anyway & the funds were not there so I was hit with a $25.00 fee. They did not stop there. They resubmitted the check again, which generated another $25.00 fee. I need the check back & don't understand why they continue to submit it. No work was done. The order # is 41310314. I also heard from telecheck & they are asking for an additional $25.00 & says they cannot guarantee that the check won't be submitted again. This is a total nightmare! Sears Home Services needs to get my check back to me & pay these extra fees. I am willing to pay the initial $25.00 fee. However, I should not be responsible for the additional fees. Their service has gone down. I have used them in the past but never again.
