ad service and still no compute

I bought a HP desktop in late August, with in a month the computer wasn't working. Contacted HP, worked with a state-side tech, still couldn't get to work. He referred me to a more advanced section who could not get the computer to work. So it was decided that they would send me a set of recovery disks and charged me for them. Then a tech called and helped me apply the disks--they did not work. Now my computer is wiped clean, it is an empty shell. The tech said that HP would send me new guts (which I have to find someone to install). That has been several weeks and nothing has arrived. There has been two calls delaying the delivery. Today I called and was told that someone called twice yesterday but no message was left. They don't know what to send me is what I was told. I don't know where to go now. I have asked to speak to supervisors but have been refused twice. I am still waiting --what has happened to good faith service and interest in making things right? I have many choices in the computer field--why would I choose HP again??
