XBOX Live Fraudulent Charges
I had an XBOX Live account with a monthly charge of just under $10. I've tried several times to cancel this subscription online, with no luck. One day (Sunday) after checking my bank account, I found that someone had purchased a couple of games/movies without my knowledge or consent. Worried, I then called XBOX and finally spoke with a representative who agreed to refund me as a 1 time courtesy the amount of 1 month's Live membership and remove my card from the account that Thursday. Not everything I wanted, but that's good. The following Friday/Saturday, I found new purchases being made totaling over $70! I called and was transferred around, but no one helped because 'policy' dictated that they could only refund me 1 time as a courtesy. This despite the fact that I called and notified the company of the FRAUDULENT charges prior and was assured my card would be removed! I was in disbelief! These were entirely new charges made AFTER I was told my card would be completely removed. I simply don't understand. Will never trust them again after this, and that's unfortunate because I legitimately like XBOX better than all other consoles. Genuinely confused and upset that they couldn't afford to rectify a situation I feel is entirely due to their lack of customer support.
