14-21 day Delivery....day 36 and still waiting - Vax C90P2NP Power Pet 2 Cyclinder Vacuum

I purchased a Vax Vacuum Cleaner from livingsocial products on the 31/7/12 with a delivery date of 14-21 days. This was my first product purchase from this company and my last. On not receiving my purchase I combed the website to find a contact phone number..the only one I could find was not in service. I then emailed a couple of different email addresses I found on the website. Naturally enough I got no reply. On 31st August I found a number on my credit card statement and called this. I waited ten minutes to speak to a gentleman about my issue. He could see from the system that I had emailed but could give no explanation as to why I received no reply. He said he would contact the warehouse and email me by close of business. I told him that if the item was not shipped I no longer wanted it and to cancel the order. Today 4th Sept still no email or contact from LivingSocial...big surprise. I called the same number and waited 8 minutes to speak to someone again. This lady had no record of my call on Thursday but could tell me that my item shipped on Friday!!!! apparently there is no record of my request for cancellation. It is to be delivered tomorrow and I can then return it...which I'm betting will cost me a small fortune. I won't be holding my breath on delivery tomorrow. Horrific Service and as for helpline?? is there actually one?? All I'm told is that they don't know....great way to run a business. I will most certainly not be purchasing from this company again. More hassle than it's worth and I still don't have my product.
