efused refund after class was cancelled

Recently purchased a deal for a group surfing lesson. When I called the surf shop to schedule they were fuklly booked until the end of summer so I took the first available lesson. On the night before the 9am lesson the surf shop called to say the were cancelling due to wind. Tried to reschedule for another time but was told they had no openings for living social customers and to contact living social for a refund. After a half an hour on hold living social said that no refund could be offered because it was out of the 7 day window from the purchase date. If only I had know when I booked my lesson a month in advance the weather would be bad!

Living Social refused a refund for the canceld deal but agreed to offer deal bucks. Needless to say the deal bucks will most likely go to waste after this experience with the site. Can't help but feel a little robbed!
