Military family's Ubox - UBox STILL not at Military family's address after 30 days. No follow-up between departments!

Ordered and PAID FOR trailer hitch and trailer online on 12/10/2013. Arrived at store at 8 a.m. on 12/18/13 to have hitch installed. They told me it hadn't arrived yet. Why wasn't I called (at least the night before) to let me know? We waited and called daily for the hitch to arrive. On 12/21/13 We had no choice to leave so my husband could REPORT FOR MILITARY ASSIGNMENT. We had to drive from Oklahoma City to Monterey, CA. The store offered to ship all of our belongings to CA at no extra cost.

Note: all of the items in the UBox are items we were advised by the military to NOT allow on a moving van. Our clothes, sentimental items, school supplies (we homeschool!) and military issued items! Not to mention ALL OF OUR CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS GIFTS that we cannot afford to replace.

We were told "11-15 business days" Ok, I accept that. Weekends, holidays, etc. I discovered our UBox is STILL in OKC. The store is telling me it's waiting on LOB. The Corporate office is telling us it's waiting on a Gypsy Moth form. I filled that form out in front of the store manager and handed it to him personally. My question is, with all of the unreliable information and mis-communication between Corporate UBox, Shipping, Local Stores, Customer Service, etc. how is a customer supposed to be able to resolve this kind of issue? There seems to be zero accountability between stores and their regional managers. Customers have no recourse. We keep being transferred to different departments and all of the departments want to transfer me back to the local store! I feel robbed and helpless. My next step is our JAG attorney. Tomorrow!!
