Accommodation at The Mangosteen Resort, thailand - The Mangosteen Resort Villa's asoffered by Groupon

We purchased and paid for a Groupon deal to stay at the Mangosteen Resort in Thailand for 7 days, on 05/08/2011 and were given until 04/07/2013 to use our voucher.
Gave the resort plenty of notice and applied for the accommodation in August 2012, for use during April 2013 ! so we could attend our close friends daughters wedding in the same area in southern Phuket. We were advised that there was no accommodation available during our requested time ! , Went on line to the resort's web site and could have booked a villa direct as plenty were available. Provider offered alternative accommodation 30km away. and claimed that they have no contact with Mangosteen Resort ! What a joke! Groupon Representatives said they would look into the problem and after some investigation said they would ring me within two working days if I supplied my phone number, which I did immediately. two weeks passed and no contact from Groupon as promised. My wife posted a message on Groupon Facebook and we received a email the following day advising us that our voucher had been cancelled and a refund had been issued, even though we had not requested it or received the phone call promised to discuss the situation. We have been offered a $50 Credit for our trouble. Very poor effort by Groupon Company,If I ran my business like these Cowboys, I would be out of business in no time. They have lost us, our family and friends as future customers and no doubt many others out there that have been jerked around!!!!
