Not a happy customer - Direct TV
I have had Direct TV for about 3 to 4 months now. It still isn't working properly. It was over 2 weeks from my original install date to get them to come back and actually install it properly. I still can't use on demand! The features don't work (as described by the salesman) like they should. Poor customer service when calling in. I was never told that I only had 24 hours to cancel before I would be charged an arm and a leg. And it is not on the paperwork that I signed like the customer support staff told me it was. I tried cancelling w/in 24 hours and wasn't allowed to. I only found out about the 24 hour deal when I called the very night my equipment was installed. The guy that installed it left w/o saying good bye or even showing me how to use the features. Not that I can use them anyways b/c they don't work. Maybe that is why he left w/ his tail between his legs. I have never been more dissatisfied w/ any other product as I am w/ Direct TV. And my bills are not what I was told they would be. You want to lock me in a contract for 2 years by telling me that my bill will be X amount of dollars but you can't hold up to your end of the deal! Seems there is something wrong w/ this picture! I am filing complaints w/ the BBB as well. Companies like this should not be in business!
