This is a Complaint / Review about DIRECTV.
Been with 6 years. Good customer. Regular channels with a few kids added. Wanted upgrade from DVR when I saw flier for new customers to get HD/DVR combo. Called and told not eligible for ANY upgrade. After a few moments of confusion on my end since no change in at least 5 yrs told was eligible. Man came out, set up, left. Realized no longer could pause... Wanted UPGRADE- Usually means keep what you have and add to.... At least in my world. Call DTV and told I would need to pay $100 extra to have this. Absurd in my opinion. That's how you repay a long good standing customer. Now in 2 year commitment. Awaiting when over. Will switch to something else cheaper that recognizes and thanks customers instead of rewarding new ones with incentives not given to others. Unfair.... Shame on DTV.
