This is a Complaint / Review about Priceline.

When using the Priceline app on my iPhone I was booked into a crappy 2 star hotel with no pool. Being on vacation with two young kids in 100 degree weather and no pool was just unacceptable. When I called customer service to try to modify my reservation, they kept me on the line for 15 minutes only to finally tell me that there was nothing they could do because the reservation was non-changeable. However, when taking a summer vacation a few years back, Priceline had booked us into a hotel that advertised an Olympic sized swimming pool, tennis courts, and an executive desk in the room. When we arrived at the hotel, the pool was without water, the tennis court was overgrown with weeds, and the room smelled of curry and looked like it hadn't been updated since the early 70's. During this trip we called Priceline to complain and we were refunded our money and were able to book another hotel. In that instance they allowed us to change a non-changeable reservation. Why not this time? We were obviously unhappy with the hotel they put us in and their customer service reps were completely unhelpful, rude and sounded like they were reading from a script. My husband uses Priceline all the time for out of town work. You would think that there would be something they could do, but they don't try to keep their customers happy and their reps suck.
