Jet Blue Airlines - Complaints / Reviews / Scam Reports
Bad policy - Jet Blue

This is a Complaint / Review about Jet Blue Airlines.

I bought 3 round-trip tickets with a lap baby (4 people total) flying from Boston to Dallas.
I was DENIED online check-in the night before my scheduled return with a note suggesting to check-in at the counter for the return flight (Flight 1214). I was charged an additional $600 for my lap child (who is now 2 yrs & 12 days old) and is still a lap child sitting on the lap of an adult. I acknowledge my mistake for forgetting to shop for the return trip ticket, however what Jet Blue did was unreasonable and low-balling.
What you could have done is to restrict the completion for purchase knowing that I would need to purchase a ticket for my child for the return flight. Since the Name, DOB, and return date is required upon the initial purchased. You chose NOT to enforce such a rule so you can get away with overcharging whatever the rate knowing that your customer will have NO other choice but to pay for whatever you demand. I used to be your loyal customer and think highly of you. I fly with you to all my destinations when possible, but I will no longer fly with you.
