Expedia charged (debited) twice for airline fares - Booking airfares via Expedia

This is a Complaint / Review about expedia.com.


Expedia are dodgy -- stay away.

In 2011, I booked two airfares to the US via Expedia. Expedia charged me twice for these airfares.

Now in 2014 they've done the same. This time I booked flights to the Philippines and they charged me twice again.

The process to reclaim the extra money debited is a nightmare.

Expedia have to fax the bank / financial institution to settle the dispute, then you will have to wait up to 24 to 48 hours until the bank can reimburse the money back into your account.

I will never, ever book any airfares via Expeidia again and I hope people realise just how dodgy this company is.
