Verizon takes your money and pretends they didn't receive it

This is a Complaint / Review about Verizon Wireless.

Verizon takes your money and pretends they didn't receive it.

After years with Verizon phone and paying online, Verizon decided to change my account number.

Making a payment to their old account was a big mistake.

Verizon will not recognize this payment.

Verizon is requiring I chase down proof that a payment was made. A printed statement from my bank confirming a payment was made was not sufficient.

I am done with Verizon once my contract is over.
