The company won't refund our deposit

This is a Complaint / Review about TAN.

We paid $302.50 in advance for the Asian Network TV system in the year 2009. The system didn't work for 2 months; therefore, the company offered to give us a 2 extra months of a free service. Although they accommodated us with 2 extra months, the system didn't work after all. They suggest us to get a new antenna, which didn't help with anything but costed us extra $80. It was very hard to get in contact with the customer service to complain about the Network TV. We decided to discontinue the subscribtion so we tried to get in contact with them regarding this issue but they did not help us with anything but putting us on hold . More absurd thing is they charged $27.50 for June this year, and $33.40 for the last month (May 2010) including the late payment penalty. They told us to send the network machine at our expense, too. This is a service that is unheard of. I would appreciate it if you could help us fight with this company's irresponsible attitude towards their malfunctioning product and handing the responsibility onto the customers.
