Poor packaging lead to broken plates and no replacements - Denby plates

This is a Complaint / Review about Beyond the Rack.


I ordered two boxes of 16 piece Denby plates and found 3 dinner plates and 1 mug broken. Upon contacting them they asked me to send photos of the broken plates and they would replace them or issue a refund. They refunded me alright, 25% of 1 set. This would make sense if it wouldn't cost me nearly $200 to replace those 4 pieces, which was the cost of the entire 16 piece set from BTR. I wouldn't be so adamant about them replacing them if it weren't for the fact that they were poorly packaged in the 1st place. There was nothing separating the dishes in the box, so it is not surprising that they were damaged. I have indicated that I am not satisfied and in fact extremely disappointed but the final response I received from BTR was to send them all back.

This is the second bad experience I have had with them and warn everyone not to buy from them.
