horrific service

This is a Complaint / Review about Cost Cutters.


Cost Cutter is suppose to be about low cost, good service and services. I have been going there on and off over the last 8 years or so. Tonight I went and asked for the usual color, a few highlights trim JUST my bangs, eyebrows waxed. it usually cost around the 65 mark. They usually don't charge for the bangs as they are only taking a small amount off in one small spot, no sectioning, not time consuming, all of 2 minutes. Tonight The staff I had did these things.She didn't even say what she was using in my hair or why. I felt like I was a WalMart. She said that will be 99$ I then asked are you sure?? that's a bit high for what I got tonight. she said yep a color 49. highlights 34, hair cut. oops I forgot your eye brows. so my bill should have been according to this woman more like 115$$ a cut ......she only trimmed part of my bangs
I said cut???? your charging me a full price of a cut, they don't usually because its like nothing compared to the other services I received.

I am so mad, I can go to an upscale stylist in our area, be served wine, color, highlights, full cut, brows waxed and colored, products to make my hair full and have body, complete head of hair dried, and styled very nicely, sometimes even with curls, and offers hair spray of which I always say yes to, They tell me what they used, and why they used certain products have a nice discussion with my service staff and be treated very nicely. I walk out of there feeling like a million dollars and looking great all for 125$$ This is what I really got at Cost Cutters : a full color that she decided to do after she was 1/2 way into my hair color and highlights, 8 foils (not the 14 she said) a bang trim, eyebrows waxed, no drink, no conversation, she was going to blow dry it with out any products in my hair, I had to ask for them, then she only half dried it (still very wet underneath)and said there, what do you think?? I said well there is no body or bounce in my hair, you didn't finish it. she says oh do you want me to curl it?? I said I usually curl it with a round brush and the blow drier, she said oh, well I was only talking about your color, My jaw hit the floor and this other person at the register said oh it looks greatttt. I left with a wet head in 48 degree weather and drove home and it was still wet and styled it my self and found that I asked her NOT to trim my bangs straight across, and she did. I am so sick of being lied to and treated this way buy businesses. If you want to keep my business, I better be treated like you want my business. I might remind your business has stated on line: IN TIMES LIKE THESE WE ARE TRYING TO KEEP THE COST DOWN, I came to you because you didn't serve the wine or fancy water, Keurig coffee, I received my services by a trained and reliable staff, to keep the cost down. 70$$. I would have been better going upscale and chatted with my stylist, she would have known what she was doing right away not 1/2 way through, and If I got my bangs trimmed instead of a full cut it would have been free. I would have spent 10 extra dollars with my hair styled and Looking and feeling like a million dollars and I wouldn't have had to go home and finish it.
