Nothing but a nightmare, buyer beware!!

This is a Complaint / Review about Infinity Moving.

Moving company quoted a price of $1180. After not hearing from the company which was booked a month in advance until the day of the move I was given a pick up time of 9am. At 9:30 I still had not heard from anyone and when I called to find out the status of the moving truck was told there were mechanical issues and it would be another 2-3 hours. By 2 pm I still had not heard from anyone and called again only to be left with no answers. When the mover himself finally answered his phone I was told there was a possibility he was not coming today and we might have to wait until the next day. That was not a possibility as we had a flight booked for 5.. When I explained this to the mover he very nastily told me to "find another carrier," which at this point I would have been more then happy to do if it was not 2 days before our lease was up. After hours of being on hold and numerous calls back and fourth with management I was told they would be arriving between 5-7 pm. So what happened to the mechanical issues? There were none the movers were too busy picking up other residences to honor the time I was given so instead of being honest they lied and said the truck broke down. Mind you I understand things happen and schedules get botched but a simple call to say they would not be on time would have sufficed. At 5:45 I get a text from the mover saying they will be there for pick up at 8:30 pm almost a full 12 hours after scheduled time. At 8:30 I call only to find out they are still another half and hour to fourth five minutes away. When they finally arrive the gentlemen is very rude and informs me that he can tell just by looking at my stuff the weight and therefore the price was under quoted. He also tells me anything I had packed in contractor bags would need to be boxed although this was not in the contract and I was never informed of this beforehand. I am told each box will cost me $30 and with the estimated extra weight the new estimate is almost double what I was originally quoted. At that point I'm distraught with no option but to oblige to these new charges as its now 11pm and I am 4 months pregnant have been up since 7 am waiting and have a 5 am flight. After giving them them a $295.00 deposit I am told before they will take my belongings I have to pay another $957. At this point I have already paid over what I was quoted. Now at nearly 2 am this nightmare is almost over... Or so we think. Now it's July 3rd and after 3 days my belongings make it to new york. I am told by the mover that another $1189 will be due upon delivery, cash or money order only. Again what am I to do I've been living out of a suitcase for the past 4 days and I need my furniture and personal belongings. After speaking with several very uncooperative staff members trying to figure out why the price of my move has doubled I am appalled at how I was treated. I am disgusted with their practices and honestly can say this has been the worst experience I have ever had with any company. It hurt me to give this company my hard earned money after how myself and my family were treated and not only will I never be doing business with them again I will never use budget van lines to contact a move. My contact was a binding agreement and I was strongholded into paying double what I was told. After all the stress I have been caused I am literally sick to my stomach.
