Cancellation process is difficult

I too have had a similar problem when trying to cancel a membership at Massage Envy in Suwanee. The Suwanee and Cumming locations are owned by the same franchisee. At first I called to cancel and was told it would be cancelled however I was given the same 30-day wait The next month after the wait I was charged so I contacted them. They told me this time that I had to come in to the location that I had signed up with to cancel my membership and that it could not be done via email or fax. It sure would have been fun had I started my membership in another state! So I went in person to the store and was told I would have to wait out ANOTHER 30 days from the date I signed. We are now 3 months past the date that I first attempted to cancel and I was going to have to pay for yet another month. Finally after paying for 4 months beyond my original cancellation date, it was cancelled. They are just as bad as any health club membership.
