My husband and I went to HHGreg on this day to purchase a Television and that we were going to take home with us upon purchasing it the salesman told us that the TV was not in the store. He said the TV was at the warehouse and we ask him how could we get the TV? The salesman name was Brandon and he proceeded to tell us that it could be delivered and set up for $80.00 and we said okay. However we purchased the TV and they told us it would be delivered on the next day 4-28-2013 in the AM. After we received the TV on Sunday found out it could not be hooked up by Technician and that we needed a cord called the cable input. After I went on the same day 4-28-2013 and purchased the cord we found out the cable input cord would not fit the Verizon box we had so the Technician said we needed to change the Verizon box and to take the cable input cord back to the store for a refund. One thing lead to another after this upon returning cable input cord to the store my salesman was at the checkout desk when I arrived to the store and ask me what was going on and I explained the situation to him. My husband called the warehouse on Sunday after we could not get our TV hooked up by the Technician and explained everything to them and demanded we receive our money for the installation back and they said no. That's when I said I was going to call the BBB on this store and I told the warehouse too. I ask could they give us half of the $80.00 dollars back because we got half the service and the paperwork says we will deliver and set in place. We will auto program TV channels hook up to one antenna source (VCR or DVD). No additional cables provided. We also was told when we went back to the store to return the cable input cord back our salesman informed us that they had the TVs in the store and I told him that they should have told us from the beginning about the TVs coming into the store eventually or rather a few days later and we would not of purchased the TV on Saturday and that they should of told us we were going to need a updated Verizon box before the TV could be installed the Technician told us that they were not trained to program channels into the TV. Finally we were mislead and lied to and my husband and I would appreciate it very much if you could get this matter resolved because we purchased the TV and we did talk to the manager at HHGreg Dwayne and he was very uncoopertive with my husband and I thats when I told him I was going to call the BBB on their store for being dishonest say one thing and could not live up to their standards and that was not our fault but theirs.
